

Anna Potasz was born in Dzierzeniow near Wroclaw. She came to Canada at the age of 14 in 1991 with her parents. She finished high school and completed a double major at the University of Toronto in Communications and Political Science.
She recently started working for the Canadian government at Border Services Canada. In her spare time she loves to dance. Anna has been a ballroom dancer for an incredible 8 years. She has competed all over Canada and has won many awards.
In her busy schedule, Anna is still also very involved with the Polish community in Mississauga and Toronto. For the past couple of years she has been involved with the Polish beauty pageant in Canada, which is linked with the national and international beauty pageant in Poland. This year she is head organizer of the pageant. Anna is also very involved with Youth Polonia. More so, she is enthusiastic in working with children. She organizes packages for orphanages in Poland as well as fundraising in the form of packages.
In her spare time she enjoys playing the piano, which she has practiced and performed for many years. She also loves to cook. In addition she is also a reporter for the Polish program, Na Luzie, on OMNI.
At the moment she resides in Mississauga.
