Applications Now Open: 2026 Young Polonia Leadership Summit

The Canadian Polish Congress is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Young Polonia Leadership Summit (YPLS). This year's Summit will take place in Ottawa, Ontario, from October 29 to 30, 2026.

The Canadian Polish Congress created YPLS to bring together the next generation of Polish-Canadian leaders, young people who will one day carry forward the work our organizations have sustained for generations. Held annually in Ottawa, the Summit gathers emerging leaders between the ages of 18 and 35 from across the country for meetings with Members of Parliament, workshops at the Canadian parliament, and a day at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. Past editions have brought together young Polish Canadians from British Columbia to Nova Scotia to discuss the future of the Polish diaspora in Canada and strengthen collaboration across provinces.

Priority will be given to new applicants, and returning alumni are welcome to apply and will be considered as space allows. Applications must be submitted by September 15, 2026.

We encourage young Polish Canadians from coast to coast to take part in this opportunity to connect, learn, and help shape the future of Polonia in Canada.
